Do I need a pendant to use Savi by Savage Techs?
No. The app works great on its own — record from your iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, or Meta Ray-Ban glasses. The pendant is additional hardware that makes the experience even more seamless and discrete. You can start with the app and add the pendant later.
Is my data used to train AI models?
Never. We have contractual zero-data-retention agreements with Anthropic and OpenAI. Your recordings and transcripts are never used to train any AI model, by us or our partners.
What phones does this work with?
The iOS app requires iPhone running iOS 26 or later. The web app (app.savibysvt.com) works on any device — iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac — through a browser.
How does the 50-free-analyses trial work?
When you sign up, you get 50 free AI analyses — no credit card required. These are powered by our servers. When they run out, you can subscribe to continue. Think of it like the free satellite radio trial that comes with a new car.
Can the pendant record phone calls?
The pendant records ambient audio around you — in-person meetings, lectures, and conversations. For phone or video calls, use the Savi by Savage Techs Mac app with ScreenCaptureKit, which captures system audio including Zoom, Meet, and Teams without a visible bot.
